Midcott Great Danes are the love of Jeff & Zara Evans. We are based in Swansea, South Wales.

Both Zara and I are addicted to our animals, we currently share our lives with our three beautiful great danes, two stunning horses and a lazy black cat.

I had my first great dane in the early eighties, a beautiful fawn bitch called Tara and I was immediately hooked on this magnificent breed. Tara was followed by Chloe, Alex and Solo, my three stunning harlies, and at one point I had managed to accumulate a great dane of each colour and also managed some success in the show ring, as well as successfully breeding some beautiful danes myself.

By the mid nineties I had moved to Dobermanns and had many happy years with the breed, but like many people who have lived with a dane I was drawn back to these gentle giants. Two years ago, we bought our blue dog puppy "Oakley" from the Bredwardine kennels and once again I was hooked! Just a few weeks later we returned to the Bredwardine kennels only to come home with our black bitch "Ella".

We have since added another set of paws, and they belong to "Prada". She is a beautiful blue bitch puppy bred by Kris Kingsley at the Dainoak kennels.

We are very keen to eventually breed some pups of our own... so watch this space!
